Someone New

Someone New

The original inspiration for this album came from listening to our basso profondo, Eric Alatorre, improvising low notes and bass lines to the car radio while on tour. His low range is a rarity that we wanted to capture and celebrate, and we wanted to have fun doing it. That spark of an idea turned into Someone New

Since 1978, Chanticleer has tackled an ever-expanding repertoire; our vision for Someone New is to continue that tradition. The album features everything from jazz standards to classic rock and indie-pop tunes be songwriters and bands from around the world, handled adeptly by some of our favorite arrangers. We had a blast recording, and we hope you love it.
